Limited Events?
As much as I hate exclusive content, where are the fun random things? Things to compare to the Bone Dragon invasion of Lion's Arch (happened during the beta weekends)? Can there be things like "defeat the waves of Char" or whatever? Possibly as opportunities to get lots of loot quickly? Like limited time events, or story changing quests that decide how the game's story will go based on player performance; Legend of the 5 Rings reportedly held events like that, and they were well recieved by players (I thought they were cool and I didn't even play the game).
I know things are possible. I just want to know where they are. I don't want to take away from the wonderful things that the GW crew is up to, but sometime (possibly after Sorrow's Furnace is done) you could try it. |

OMG! I heard about all that in beta too....
Why the hell are they giving the paying customers no events to have fun with? thats a bunch of crap. They did the events as a promotional tool i bet, now that we were suckered in, they are gonna screw us over. |

They might be focusing first on fixes and such to certain aspects of the game, maybe once they get "settled in" they'll be able to do more things like events, just a guess though.
